75 Contact hours & 1,000 hours minimum as DON/Consultant/Volunteer in a leadership role within the past 3 years (35 hours need to be ANCC)

50% of contact hours need to be in the areas of leadership/budgeting aging process Medicare/Medicaid and Regulatory requirements

CDONA™ Certified Director of Nursing Re-Certification Exam

DON – have been employed or served as a volunteer DON, or consultant in the long term care specialty within the last 5 years. You must have at least 75 hours of continuing education.
By purchasing this re-certification, the applicant certifies that they met the above requirements.
