NOTICE OF TRANSFER OF SERVICES FROM NALPN EDUCATION FOUNDATION T0 NADONA

There has been a transfer in services from the NALPN Education Foundation to The National Association of Directors of Nursing Administration in Long Term Care (NADONA) for your LPN certification needs.

Over the years, licensed practical nurses have greatly benefited from the educational and professional development services provided by the NALPN Education Foundation. However, as our needs and priorities evolve, we believe that aligning with NADONA will better serve the needs of practical nurses.

NADONA’s reputation for excellence in promoting leadership and advancing the practice of nursing administration in long-term care settings is well-known. We are confident that by transitioning the certifications to NADONA, licensed practical nurses will gain access to a broader range of resources, networking opportunities, and educational programs that are tailored to the unique challenges and demands of the long-term care sector.

To facilitate a smooth transition, we will provide all necessary steps information involved in shifting our affiliation to NADONA.  Additionally, all certification and class information is located on the NADONA website. (www.nadona.org).

10% of all re-certifications are audited to ensure that the contact hours and service hours are met.  Certifications are valid for 3 years.
(CDONA has some 5-year certifications grandfathered in prior to 2016).
