In today’s nursing home environment, Directors of Nursing face more clinical and regulatory challenges than ever before.  In this third webinar of the 6-part webinar series, NADONA and PharMerica presenters will give a brief review of the Seven Pharmacy F Tags, some of the potential Clinical/Pharmacy crossover F Tags, and how the DON and Consultant Pharmacist working together have an opportunity to improve survey outcomes in these areas.

3. How the DON and pharmacist/pharmacy consultant can interact before and during survey.

Featured Speakers: Jeffery Herr, Pharm D, Manager of Clinical Operations, PharMerica Jeff Herr graduated from the University of the Pacific, Stockton School of Pharmacy in 1997 earning a Doctor of Pharmacy degree. Jeff had the honor of representing his fellow class mates as The Class President, 1997 Graduating Class. Upon graduation, Jeff entered the field of retail pharmacy and after two years as a manager, took the position of District Manager for Ralph’s Pharmacy covering Northern CA, San Diego and Las Vegas.

Nancy Tuders, RN, GERO-BC, IP-BC, CDONA, Assistant Director of Education, NADONA Nancy graduated from Indiana University. She is board certified as a gerontological nurse by the American Nursing Credentialing Center and is board certified as an Infection Preventionist with NADONA and CDONA. Nancy is the past chairperson and vice chairperson of Care Providers Regulatory Forum and was appointed to the Board of Examiners for Nursing Home Administrators in 2007 and reappointed in 2011 and 2014.
