Recertification for the CLPN is every 3 years. Requirement: 1000 employed hours in LTC over the past 3 years and 50 contact hours. 25 of contact hours need to be in the areas of leadership/budgeting/aging process/Medicare/Medicaid and Regulatory requirements (20 CE need to be ANCC Accredited.) Your certification renewal will be due on the last day of the month you originally became certified. For Example: if you became certified January 1st, 2019, you will have until January 31, 2022 to renew your certification. Please keep in mind your certification does not warrant membership!
