Having served NADONA/LTC in many roles and capacities for the past 21 years, Sherrie Dornberger is currently President of NADONA/LTC. She is also the proud mother of Lauren who is attending Ursinus College for pre-med.
Sherrie's passion is Long Term Care. She began her LTC career at the age of 18 as a Nurses Aide while attending school for her RN. She worked up through the ranks and has been involved in the long term care profession for over 30 years. She is currently enrolled in online classes to obtain her Masters in Healthcare Administration. Sherrie also serves as a consultant to Long Term Care facilities. She is a certified DON through NADONA, and also was honored as a Fellow by NADONA.
She serves on the Board of Directors for the Red Cross. Sherrie has been honored as DON of the Year for both NADONA and NJADONA. Sherrie is an avid Longaberger Basket collector, enjoys cross stitching, and watching softball games.
Robin Storey

Robin Storey is a founding member and Past President of NADONA. She has served in numerous capacities at NADONA in the past and, in addition to serving as Vice President, currently chairs the Amendments Committee. Ms. Storey is a Senior Consultant with Pathway Health Services, Inc.
Ms. Storey obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Webster University and is a Fellow in the Academy of Certified Directors of Nursing Administration. Previously Ms. Storey was the Director of Access Outcomes in the Advocacy and External Relations department for Ascension Health in St. Louis, Missouri and, prior to that, the Director of Program Development and Quality Improvement for BJC HealthCare in St. Louis. Ms. Storey has more than 25 years of extensive healthcare experience in the field of geriatrics and over 15 years experience as a Director of Nursing in Long Term Care Facilities. She served as a member of the task force that developed training materials for the MDS 2.0. She is a past recipient of the National Association of Directors of Nursing Administration, Nursing Administrator of the Year Award. She currently sits on the Alliance for Palliative Care Nursing, the CARF International Standards Advisory Committee for Person Centered Long-Term Care and the Person Centered Care Project through the Pioneer Care Network.
Laura Fain

Laura Fain has always wanted to be a nurse. She began training at seventeen and has worked as a nurse continuously with the exception of two maternity leaves. She began as a candy striper in high school and has been working in the medical profession since graduation from Nursing School. Leadership roles have come easily to Laura, beginning in the Operating room, and then again as a DON throughout her 25-year career in Long Term Care.
Laura believes in NADONA/LTC with all of her heart. She is a Founding member and has found NADONA's evolution a fascinating experience filled with precious memories and incredible people.

Jo Walters has been an active member of NADONA and the Ohio State Chapter for over 19 years. On the state level she served in such positions as Regional Director, Recording Secretary, Vice President and President. She has served NADONA as a member of the Education Committee, a program reviewer and DON Certification test reviewer. She is a Nationally recognized and respected speaker. She has presented programs on Leadership, Staff Retention, Behavior Management, the New CMS QIS Survey process and her signature program "Keep Your Star Shining Bright" at both the National Conference and many state conferences.
Jo has published numerous articles on topics related to the world of long term care. She is a Certified Director of Nursing through NADONA, certified in Gerontological Nursing through ANCC and was inducted into the NADONA Academy of Fellows in 1994. Long Term care has been her passion for over 25 years. She is currently employed by HCR ManorCare as a Quality Regulatory Consultant/ Professional Educator.
Jo has been married to Ralph for over 30 years and they have three children. He shares her passion and dedication to NADONA and the State Chapter. He has accompanied her to many national and state conferences and is always willing to offer a helping hand. You probably have seen him snapping a photo here and there!Born and raised in Upper Sandusky Ohio Jo has held many positions in long term care such as DON, Director of Education for Omnicare, Director of Education & QA for a LTC State Organization and as a consultant. She has serves on many Advisory Boards for the industry. She has served on many Governmental Boards in the State of Ohio. Relaxation comes in the way of travel, listening to music and her beloved Golden Retrievers Smokie and Sadie! "Serving the membership by being a member of the NADONA Board of Directors has been a goal of mine and I will do my best to do it with the same level of dedication, passion, and integrity that has guided me throughout my career. Throw in a lot of friendships and humor as well!
Robin Arnicar

Robin Arnicar, RN, CDONA/LTC is an active Director of Nursing at Grace HealthCare’s Frederick Villa Nursing Center, a 125 bed Skilled Nursing Facility in Catonsville, MD. She has been in LTC nursing for 22 years and a Director of Nursing for the past 13 years. Robin is an active member of the Maryland chapter of NADONA and has served in many roles including Corresponding Secretary, VP and most recently as President. Robin has served as a member of the National NADONA Education Committee and serves as a mentor to NADONA members throughout the country.
Robin is a member of Maryland’s steering committee for the Local Area Network for Excellence (LANE) of the Advancing Excellence in Nursing Homes Campaign. She also serves as a member of the editorial advisory board for AMDA’s publication, Caring for the Ages and is a contributing writer for the publication as well. Robin presents both locally and nationally on topics related to long term care Leadership and various clinical topics. She has worked with the American Medical Director’s Association in updating Clinical Practice Guidelines including dehydration and pressure ulcers.
She was honored in 2007 as the NADONA Nursing Administrator of the Year for both the Northeast region and was the Overall National recipient.
She serves on many other committees and has numerous activities geared toward the advancement of excellence and leadership in LTC. In her spare time she works as a consultant in LTC litigation.

Aysha Kuhlor, RN, BA CDONA/LTC is an active Director of Nursing/Clinical Services at Saint Mary Home a 256- bed skilled nursing facility in West Hartford, CT. Ms. Kuhlor has served in various leadership roles in Long Term Care for over 10 years. She is the current President of the Connecticut Chapter of NADONA, and is on the Education and Legislative committees of the National Board of NADONA. Aysha also is active with various advisory Boards at the State and National level and has presented on various clinical topics at both National and State events. She participates on the American Association Of Consultant Board in planning Senior Symposium events.
Aysha is the recipient of NADONA’s 2009 Nurse Administrator of the year award for the Eastern Region. She was honored with the Quality of Excellence Award from Catholic Health East 2007 in her capacity as Director of Nurses at Saint Mary Home in West Hartford, Connecticut. , Aysha was recently nominated for the Distinguished Service Award with the Connecticut Association of Not- for –Profit Providers for Aging (CANPFA). Aysha is very passionate about nursing and her mission is to promote quality care for Seniors throughout the Nation as well as recognize the dedication of Long Term Care Staff .
Aysha is married to Francis Kuhlor, and they have two beautiful daughters Denisha and Vanessa.

Gina Kaurich joined NADONA as its Executive Director in October 2009. Ms. Kaurich was Vice President of Clinical Operations for BrightStar Healthcare in Chicago. Prior to that, she served at various times as a Director of Nursing, Manager of Client Care Services and other healthcare positions. She received her MBA in Management from Almeda University and her RN from Christ Hospital School of Nursing in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Gina started her healthcare career as a Candy Striper in Junior High and now has over 35 years of experience as a Registered Nurse. She is also credentialed as a Professional Geriatric Care Manager and certified as a Master Coach and Trainer. Her nursing career has extended through Clinical Administrator for a Hospital System, Director of Nursing in a Continuing Care Community, VP of Clinical Operations in Home Care and she volunteered as a Certified Paramedic for her local life squad. She has extensive experience in adult education, regulation, compliance, quality assurance, marketing, sales, and healthcare computerization. Gina enjoys computers, reading, gardening flowers and vegetables, decorating, needlework and sewing. She and her husband Harry share four children and seven grandchildren who keep them busy and grounded to what is truly important in life.

Jan Ward joined NADONA in 2005 as an assistant in the national office to help support the staff of NADONA in day-to-day functions. As Membership Coordinator, she is working to build membership and form new chapters throughout the United States. She also helps coordinate NADONA’s national conferences. Jan has a background as an administrator in the general office of a local retail business.
Through the years, Jan has acted as team leader for the Nurture Network, an affiliation of Tri-County Vineyard Community Church as a volunteer to provide meals and necessities to the homeless and also provide everyday needs to families such as food, blankets, trips to doctors, etc. From time to time, she has been a facilitator for bible study groups.
Jan is married to Darrell and they have been together for 17 years. Jan has two American Eskimo dogs, Cotton and Candy and as Jan will tell you, they are her children. Jan is an avid gardener and provides enough vegetables to friends and family to supply them for a summer. Jan enjoys reading and educating herself. She has recently educated herself on Microsoft Office.
Jan bowls on a league during the winter months with her husband and enjoys hosting the family picnics and pool parties throughout the summer and loves spending time with her 29 nieces and nephews.
Cheryl Hecker

Cheryl Hecker comes to NADONA with a diversified administrative background in IT, Marketing (retail) and Human Resources. She holds a certification as an administrative professional with the International Association of Administrative Professionals and is an active member of her IAAP chapter here in Cincinnati, volunteering at local functions such as the ATP tournaments held annually. Cheryl also serves on the Board of Directors as Secretary for Bridge of Hope, an organization designed to assist single mothers with a new lifestyle of career and home life, providing mentors assigned to each family for one year, helping them to become independently functional in society without the dependence of welfare. Cheryl and her girls help serve the homeless community on some week-ends through her church community.
Cheryl has three daughters: Natalie, Emily and Andrea; and a granddaughter: Anne-Marie, 4, who resides with her. Natalie is attending college locally through a University of Cincinnati satellite school; Emily is attending Ball State University in Indiana; and Andrea is entering her freshman year in high school.
